Well let me start by admitting the fact that "I'm not a great artist ".
Sketches always took me to a creative world, where I painted my dreams. Admiring the untold stories that I could read from the painting I saw, I wanted to enter that world. Always "CANVAS make me happy when skies are grey".
My inspiration was my Father, and his simple beautiful flower which didn't have any shading, just a flower which he drew using pen to make me happy when I was 3 or 4. I remember that I used to go behind him asking to draw that flower again and again and he just sometimes showed great attitude ignoring my request to provoke kiddish irritation in me, which resulted in trying to draw it by myself. There it started , my "CANVAS" of sketches. I tried and tried, still I'm trying hard , but yet I can't draw the flower he drew. During my trials , depressed of not duplicating my Father's simple but trademark sketch, I ended up in realizing one among my passions " The world of CANVAS".
My Father may not know that he is my inspiration. But he appreciated me when ever I showed him a picture I did, encouraged me, got me the stuffs to paint my passion. so the same support was given by my Mother and Sister. I didn't attend any art classes, when my friends did excellent sketches I admired them, I admired every artists, tried to learn it by myself.
Each of my sketches have a story behind it, how it was created. I would like to share it with whoever reads this blog. I was pathetic in sketching , now its improving says my friends who see it, some say I do well, but for me I am still at the entrance ,learning from others, trying myself & waiting my results. You may feel that some are just craps, sorry, but all those are precious for me, steps to learn from my mistakes.
To those who say that they cant draw, I would say "Any Body Can Draw", but only if you got the passion, imagine it in your mind, u have the patience to erase when you go wrong, try again, sketch the entire thing once again, spend your lazy hours for this, learn from your mistakes, accept others judgement ; not to go down; but to improve yourself..
Even if I can't be anywhere in this world, I just have a dream of me sketching the magical flower, once in my life.
Here starts my journey of " CANVAS".
